Located in the Lake Valley Area, just fifty-three miles south of Farmington, New Mexico, the meeting place for La Vida Mission Seventh-day Adventist Church was provided by the loving hearts and hands of Maranatha—a group of retired professionals, ministers, and lay people—in the early 1970's. It was their intent to provide a place of worship to the Creator God who loves His Navajo children unconditionally.

Our church continues to be a place where worshipers come on Sabbath to make recommitments to their Creator and learn more about developing a relationship with Christ. This instruction comes through songs, Bible stories, prayers, sermons, and fellowship.
